• Handwoven using traditional basket weaving techniques by women's co-operative in Kilgali, Rwanda;

Weaving has played an important role in Rwanda's ourney towards reconciliation and peace after their tragic genocide in 1994.

Weaving takes a long time and when people sit together and weave they talk and come to understand each other and peace will prevail.

The story of the women of Rwanda is one of survival, resilience,healing and forgiveness.
