These beautiful handwoven raw silk shawls are made using traditional spinning and weaving techniques and all colours are made from natural sources - flowers, bark, plant roots and berries. Ideal for those cool summer evenings.

Sabahar is based in Addis Ababa and it's main purpose is to create positive employment opportunities for Ethiopians (with a special emphasis on creating employment for women). Sabahar supports rural cocoon producers and weaver's co-operatives ensuring fair trade principals are applied throughout the supply chain. They also strive for their production processes to be environmentally sustainable.  Sabahar is a member of WFTO (World Fair Trade Organisation).
