Maasai Multi Strand Bracelet - Blue

Tradition meets Contemporary!

These amazing beaded bracelets are made by Maasai women in the Talek region of the Maasai Mara in Kenya.

The Maasai have a rich heritage in beadwork, where many of their traditional ceremonies and beliefs are expressed in colour and pattern.

This project aims to help over 100 women make postiive change to their lives by maintaining and enhancing their handicraft skills and providing employment and training within the fair trade framework.

• Handmade from glass beads and leather;
• 17 strands of alternating coloured beads on elastic - blue, black and white;
  
• Size - diametre approx. 7cm
