These albums from Burkina Faso are great for photos, scrap-booking, or a journal.

Handmade from recycled paper, the women of the Papiers du Sahel co-operative use paper donated by the French Embassy. The paper is very textured and herbs have been mixed in with the pulp.

Although paper-making is not a traditional skill of the Burkinebe people, the women of the Papiers du Sahel co-operative have embraced this innovative income generating and skill development program.

Around 80% of Burkina Faso's population survive on less than US$2 a day, therefore, trade is one of the best contributions we can make to Burkina's economy.
