These cushions have undergone an amazing production process - after the cotton is cut to size it is handpainted with a starch solution and then dried in the sun.  The fabric is then 'cooked' in an industrial oven which makes the textiles colourfast and fully washable.

The textile business has been operating in the heart of the Zambian bush since 1991 - the objective is to promote fair trade practices, generate local employment and develop creative skills.
