Magical Mud Cloth!
This beautiful piece of mud cloth is painted with colours from nature's own plants in Mali, West Africa - each piece is an individual artwork.
Bogolanfini (or mud cloth as it is widely known) is made from thin strips of white cotton sewn together to form one cloth. While the cloth starts off white, it is then soaked in a solution from pounded leaves which turns the cloth yellow and then designs are applied with mud dyes.
